I’m an engineer, writer, and commentator tackling challenges in the the battery industry. I’m building high-performance silicon anode battery materials at Coreshell. Previously, I helped build climate tech startups Voltaiq, About:Energy, Addionics, Gaussion, Heliotrope, etc.

I founded Intercalation to break down battery tech/trends. I’ve consulted for climate VCs, government groups, startups. I also co-authored a children’s book about batteries (order it on Amazon)!

In my free time, I train with the Sacramento Masters swim team. You can usually find me in a pool or hanging out with my cat Theo.
